  Kyrrga came across a few new people who caught her intrest.
  
  - One of them is [Kythri] a gargoyle in a bar. Gargoyles are extinct back home thanks to the scorching flames cast by the shamans centuries ago to get rid of the humans, causing them to go outside of their usual habitat and crumble to dust after a few decades. Eventhough the scholars and philosiphers said these beings were the best observers once you got them as allies, there would be none existing any longer, but see here... She has met one in the flesh. [In her procket she also keeps a small inscribed rock, given to her by her mother. Supposedly it is a piece of gargoyle shoulder.]
  -- The inquisitive nature of Kyrrga has lead to a discovery, the gargoyle spent his first 300 years as a captive of a power hungry mage who thought himself a god, taking and creating life as he saw fit for his experiments. Kyrrga has made a mental note to one day ask the wise creature how it feels to die and be reborn again.
  --- The gargoyle has taken the human in as an adoptee, mothering her along with the nymph. Thusly Kyrrga has made the pledge to keep a watchfull eye out for them too. The gargoyle has expressed her warmth to the Charr, which made her feel more at home.
  ---- The gargoyle made a ring that turns Kyrrga into a male when put on. Scared the warband to no end.
  
  - Another is [Claire Eleanor Rigby] a spellcaster who thusfar managed to stay off the kill list. Kyrrga managed to pry some information loose, like age (spanning centuries) and origin (which dumbstruck her right away... An artifact vault of magic taken life on it's own to escape the clutches of a 700 year old witch... spellcasters...). The lady with the IV is very frail indeed as Kyrrga found out that even the slightest pressure of her nails on skin would cause it to open.
  -- Recently the being of living magic digged deeper to the source why Kyrrga doesn't take kindly to magic, projecting a memory of Kyrrga into life. The memory itself was Kyrrga's first encounter with an effigy and re-experiencing the horrors of that encounter refreshed the mental pain. Luckily she AND Geardance were there for comfort and so the magical being officially made the *Do not kill* list and received a black gear pendant, a common gift from an Iron Legion soldier to a non-charr friend.
  --- After the sparring that went south, Kyrrga has begun building a new body to house the artefact, with a bit of luck she might receive the materials from home soon enough. Guilt is slowly turning to pride.
  ---- The artefact lives inside a miniature Charr Effigy! Victory!
  
  - One she has truly enjoyed so far and has not only achieved a place on the *Do Not Kill* list, but also the *Mages I don't mind being around* is a black feline adorned with purple clothing and hair. Secretly Kyrrga's hoping to spend more time and go on adventure with Midnight Sweet her as she has proven thusfar to be more than just a spellslinger, but also a warm companion.
  --As the day and evening progressed one thing led to another, led to something more. Before night fell the nimble dancer-esque feeline managed to wiggle her way to Kyrrga's heart and secured herself a place in Kyrrga's warband, not by means of magic, but simply being there at the right time at the right place. Kyrrga sealed the deal by braiding the feeline's purple hair and knotting a shiny light metal gear into it, just as she herself has multiple gears in her hair and she nicknamed the non-charr warband mate "Geardancer".
  --- Geardance has proven herself worthy again, not only because of a succesfull sparring session where the smaller feline managed to catch Kyrrga off guard with a polearm, but also by virtue of being there to calm her down and relax her after the encounter with Claire. Kyrrga enjoyed waking up with her as she was awoken by the high pitched call of a small bird outside...
  ---- Kyrrga made Geardance a set of armour (reminiscent of ancient hopilites) and spars with her on a regular basis. Geardance has taken the artefact in safekeeping untill further notice, as that is her role as Librarius in her warband. The charr has taken Geardance not only as her sparring partner, but also as one of the people she loves, thus she has smithed and fused shut a white golden gear as earring in the non-charr's ear.

  ---

  Geardance has presided over an important ceremony involving Kyrrga, with members of the warband being present. Geardance said a few things which gained her the respect of the warband.
  
  - A drinking buddy is found in the winged patron Josie at an inn called the Dragon's Tongue -a bar she stumbled upon, but immediatly felt comfortable enough to curl up by the fireplace and rest her weary head-. Up to this point the most remarkable thing is the fact that this newfound barbound companion can handle a sip of Old Iron.
  -- The winged drinking buddy -who Kyrrga thought was a silent one- has fired away a hail of questions regarding Kyrrgaś history, her place in the legions and basically wanted a crash course Social Structure of the Charr Race 101, Kyrrga was happy to oblige as the booze kept flowing.
  
  -A glorious day as Kyrrga proved the strength and intelligence of the Legions were better than magic and mystics. Kyrrga has managed to wrestle a white dragon to the ground, subdue him and collar him as an asset to the entire legion. A different kind of hunt, but a fun one as well. She said she would forget the name of the dragon Silver Lightwalker, but only if he would remove his collar and thus mark himself an enemy and a target for the hunt. Nevertheless. She had succesfully broke a dragon's will that day.
  
  - The human female that frequents The Dragon's Tongue inn [Jennifer Celeste] (of which Kyrrga only later found out the underlying nature, at the moment that it didn't matter to her anymore because she enjoyed the place) has proven herself quiet though pleasant company. Appearently the human is somehow linked to the gargoyle. She is the first to (temporarily) decline a sip of Old Iron. -> She has tasted it and cant handle it, doesnt matter, kyrrga is happy the human gave it a try.
  -- Kyrrga has had a little chat with the human as she has recently started to cuddle up against the charr more often. Kyrrga is quite baffled by the fact that a human is willingly getting close to a charr with positive feelings. Kyrrga on her turn has done something way more mind boggling: hunting a deer for food, skinning it and treating the hide to create a deerhide vest for the human so she wont freeze in the cold months ahead.
  --- The Charr has pledged to protect the human from anything, even her own Legion. Following the decryption of the letter, the human has been granted the position of Auxiliary, to advise where needed. Kyrrga has fallen in love with the human and has smithed (and fused shut) a bracelet around the human's wrist, Geardance was there to prevent burns from happening.
  ---- The human lover has prevented the charr from letting an encounter with a regular visitor at the Tongue escalate. The regular in question is apparently a wielder of dark necromantic powers, so vile that she walks the line of undeath herself. In retrospect this moment has only strengthened Kyrrga's feelings for the human.

  Kyrrga did the most un-Charr thing a Charr can do and married the human.
  
  - One of the employees at the bar Tenajeh has recently tasted both Old Iron and Dragon's Water. She has deemed the latter as a good drink to keep around and made the best remark about drinking in general: "Can't enjoy alcohol while drunk."
  
  - Someone with military history came walking in the bar. Captain Annisson Riker Key, 156th Harbringers. It was a pleasant suprise that the retired mage hunter not only could handle Old Iron very well, but the fifty pushing woman brought in *Rift Whiskey* which was described as between moonshine and chloric acid in terms of the burning in ones throat, but it tasted rather pleasant like a cider rather than a whiskey. The woman was also suprised to see Kyrrga handling it with more ease than Old Iron and that Old Iron was as strong as it is. This proves to be a promising meeting.
  
  - The nymph Sally Shortspoken has made it a regular game of biting the charr and running off. It's fun at some times. She did it at a wrong moment to and earned the back of Kyrrga's hand to her face. It was just after the sparring with Claire. The smaller one took it well and consoled the Legionaire. Sidenote: The nymph can't take alcohol, she shrinks because of it.
  -- The nymph is more than only looks as it appears. Having passed three centuries, the nymph has proven to be as wise as the gargoyle (her wife) in her own way. When building her new long range rifle, it was the nymph who provided a scope to work with. The nymph also seems to take a liking in the Charr, which pleases Kyrrga greatly.
  
  - Geardance apparently has a sister Monica Sweet. The little sister of the Gear warband Librarius seems to be a bit awe inspired that her big sister now has an even bigger "sister". The little one told Kyrrga a story about how the Sweet sisters already proved to be resourceful even when they were young. The charr is obviously quite pleased.
  
  - The owner of the Tongue Ariante Oakenfold has expressed concern and care for the Charr, giving her a home from Home, her own seat, a job and sometimes looking the other way when Kyrrga gets a little on edge. Ater a few talks it seems the elven dryad and the Charr don't differ that much in background, it's only a different mindset and another race. It seems that those at the Tongue who frequent it are all in a web of relations, the one even more complex and alien to the Charr's comfort zone (eventhough over time she has grown used to those stranger things). For giving her a home from Home, Kyrrga also keeps an eye out for the dryad (not as fierce as she would for her two loved ones, but still enough to get into combat should it be needed).
  
  - An intelligent ooze at the bar attracted the charr's attention. Zoë Slijk The slime girl is a thing of wonder, somewhat reminding Kyrrga of the oozes home. Rather than experimenting on her, Kyrrga just likes to observe her. It was only when Kyrrga made an intricately smithed pen that she inquired the ooze if she could provide something that would substitue ink. And provide the ooze did, her outer layer being the prefect *invisible* ink, visible only when held against the light.
  
  - Kyrrga has ventured to another bar, The Green Grotto, a fighter's hangout on the far end of the forests bordering the Tongue. She stumbled upon it by accident and came across welcoming and scared faces.

  • Kyrrga sparred with a young one Astrid Kirito to first blood. She didn't go for the win directly, she stretched the match. This would be mistake one. The younger one took on to Kyrrga as an example to live up to. Kyrrga found mentorship was a bit iffy, nor did she express affection as she went back where she came. When Kyrrga came back, the young one greeted the charr as a child would greet a mother. It escalated when the young one tried to tell the charr what to do. Two blasts from the Streamer that barely missed were enough to get the non-charr to whimper. This was mistake two. She branded the other's chest with the weapon's muzzle, which turned out to look like a gear. The younger one interpeted this as a form of adoption. Kyrrga has tried, but she can't wrap her head around motherhood, it's too alien for the Charr. And it's only going downhill in a spiral of misunderstanding.
    OOC Note: OOC Astrid's player is okay in my book. OOC and IC are always seperated and will not influence one another
  • Spotted a foxi from the corner of her eye Zyla who shows much potential. Kyrrga had wanted to challenge her at the bar, but has been avoiding it a bit due to the abovementioned situation. Luckily Kyrrga had made a good first impression, because the foxi has shown up at the Charr's makeshift workshop. Kyrrga noticed the lack of a decent sword on the other and a lack of a project to keep busy untill she would receive an answer from home. The price is a complicated on. The foxi has agreed to lend a helping hand whenever requested. To seal this deal Kyrrga has branded her on the knee with a tiny gear. She told the foxi it would serve as a mark to show others that she is in service of the Iron Legion and it would remain there untill further notice. What she didn't tell is that the task is done when enough heads have been presented as result of the blade's work. At least she has something to keep busy...
  • She ran into the Grotto's blacksmith together with Sarrin. She decided her Scout could be the one to size him up this time.
